Job description

Position Title:

Head of Accounting Controlling (HoF) of Siemens Financial Services Ltd. (SFS TRE CN)

Mission of Function:

In general: Lead Accounting Controlling team to ensure integrity of financial records, achieve effective and efficient accounting, reporting, and controlling in regards to the company's treasury activities.

In addition, carry out HoF activities as defined by CF R NEA FAC after Finance Bundling.

· Stakeholders in finance area, e.g. E&Y, PwC, local authorities, external banks

Responsibility scope:

Accounting and Reporting:

· Make sure the correct accounting, reporting and tax treatment is selected
· Review accounting vouchers
· Review monthly closing outputs.
· Review internal and regulatory reports (e.g. PBOC, CBRC, MoF, Statistic Bureau, SAFE).
· Prepare internal management reports and quarterly forecast.
· Coordinate with other teams in daily accounting and reporting work.
· Draft and maintain the internal guidelines.

Budget and Forecast:

· Contribute in annual budget planning
· Contribute in monthly budget control and rolling forecast process and reporting

Tax coordination:

· Review tax related reports and vouchers.
· Coordinate with CF Tax and GS Tax for monthly tax calculation, postings, and reporting
· Manage SFSL CIT annual filing project, and coordinate with Corporate Tax and external tax firm to issue tax verification report
· Monitor SFSL TP issues for daily operation, and coordinate with Corporate Tax TP Team to prepare TP Documentation.

Other responsibilities as HoF:

· Participate in/promote the FAC training concept and obtain feedback from accounting community on a regular basis.
· Implement the agreed-upon process and act as change agent to drive operational excellence.
· Monitor pending MTO ICC and GRIR open items status, and ensure the balance can be justified.
· Stabilize the balance sheet recon, and flux review process (Ensure the ending balance can be justified, such as accrual, provision, allowance, etc.). Implement the roll-out of Run-book.
· Coordinate local HBI audit, timely and quality submit PBC documents.
· Coordinate external audit fieldwork in line with Group approach
· Manage remediation status of Management Letter Points

Knowledge and Technical Requirement

· Professional knowledge in general accounting and treasury
· Solid IFRS knowledge of Financial industry, PRC GAAP accounting
· Siemens Financial Reporting Guideline (FRG)/ Implementation Guidelines (IG) (applicable to internal candidates only)
· IT application: Finavigate (applicable to internal candidates only), Murex
· MS-office skills
· Good English communication skills

Experience requirement

· 3-5 years relevant accounting, reporting and treasury experience in multi-national corporation
· 3+ years relevant working experience in accounting & controlling area of financial institutions or corporate treasury function
· Well-developed presentational and communication skills
· Experience in leading a team of people
· Experience in project management
· SOA/internal controls/audit experience is a plus.
· Professional accounting qualification is an advantage (eg China CPA, ACCA)
