We are looking for a Head of Energy & Performance Services (EPS),committed to create scalable and speedy impact by providing sustainability,energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and distributed energy solutions to globaland local customers, to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within theSmart Infrastructure (SI) Business Area.

Your Challenge

As Head of Energy & Performance Services (EPS) your missionwill be to lead the EPS country unit with full P&L responsibility and someof your main activities will be:

  • Hold the Strategic Leadership position to develop and implement the business plan in alignment with the Italian RSS organisation’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Implement guidelines and defines functional specific policies, processes, or methods to ensure compliance to Regional & Global strategy and go-to-market with full EPS portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities and evaluates market trends to ensure a competitive edge as well as collaboration with other Siemens units, especially with RSS branches business.
  • Responsibility for sales enablement and sales growth in order to achieve sustainable financial objectives and processes.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including Key Accounts, partners and external strategic groups such as Government Affairs / trade associations.
  • Team Management: provides strong leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals with direct line management, setting clear performance objectives and providing regular feedback to support professional development initiatives.
  • Represents Siemens SI EPS externally towards customers and the broader public, and internally towards country management and SI management.
  • Ensures Operational Excellence, supervising successful delivery of Projects & Services in collaboration with RSS operational organization, inclusive of governance adherence to quality standards, timelines and budgetary requirements.
  • Leads Business Performance Reviews, effectively communicating the visions, goals and progress.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or others related field.
  • Proven experience in the field as well as in handling successful sales or operations teams.
  • Proof of handling a business P&L and multiple organizational units (sales, engineering, execution, etc.).
  • Extensive experience in complex project business, preferably in building or industrial infrastructure refurbishments, energy efficiency projects, onsite generation, and/or power generation.
  • Experience with solution or sales project on executive level
  • Knowledge of how to manage complex projects focusing on project and team member performance to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Experience of working in complex matrix organizations with multiple responsibilities and drivers.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing impactful teams with direct line management of team managers as well as individual contributors.
  • Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness
