About the role / Segment

Our Production & Qualification department consists ofabout 9 Hardware Test Engineer who have daily focus on hardware assembly, qualificationand calibration of high-tech Siemens SCADAS systems.

Besides the regular tasks there is the target on continuousimprovement, product quality and costs reduction.

Responsibilities

The objective for the Hardware Test Engineer is to make astructural contribution to the operational targets that are set for the department,such as on time delivery, lead time reduction and costs control.

Your main tasks will be:

• Qualification and inspection of hardware (PCBA’s) receivedfrom EMS

• Assembly and functional test of electronic PCB’s formeasuring systems according customer requirements

Adjustment and calibration of electronic data acquisitionmeasuring systems according engineering specifications and ISO17025

• Reporting of status, progress and quality control data

• Troubleshooting, diagnostic analysis and repair ofelectronic hardware

• Support the introduction of new development projects

Profile Requirements

• MBO+/HBO electronics or other relevant education

• Experience with ESD handling of electronic PCB’s andtesting

• Knowledge and experience with MS Office applications

• Knowledge of electronic components and specifications

• Knowledge and experience with IPC

• Experience with testing and repair (reading schematics)

• Experience with lean-6sigma techniques

• Fluently English, written and spoken
