Hardware Engineer

We are currently seeking to grow our engineering teamdedicated to developing our next generation products in our Research andDevelopment (R&D) department located in Sibiu.

This role is ideally suited for someone who has a fewyears in their career. The successful applicant will bejoining a newly created team with plenty of opportunity to learn new thingsand develop in his career.

In Sibiu, the activity will take place at SIMEA, for theSmart Infrastructure, Electrical Products team.

Newrole – challenging and future-oriented:

• Analysis and implementation of project requirements
• Electronic circuit design and prototype validation
• Testing devices, documenting hardware problems and proposingsolutions
• Preparationof supporting documentation for production
• Providingsupport to firmware development teams
• Supportin system integration

Requirements:

• Solid electronic circuit design skills (analog and digital)
• Good knowledge of circuit testing and optimization
• Knowledge of electronic parts (analog and digital) is essential
• Developed analytical skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• The ability to work in a team and provide support in severalprojects

Skillsthat are a plus

• Knowledge of switching power supplies, data acquisition andpower electronics
• Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility testing and EMChardening
• Knowledge of PCB layout and APCB construction
• Knowledge of communication interfaces
• Knowledge of CAN, PROFIBUS and PROFINET, as well as otherindustrial communication protocols
• Experience in teams developing complete products (hardware,firmware, testing).
