Job Title: Graduate Project Engineer

Location: Manchester

· Siemens Transmission Solutions operates in partnership with customers in the UK Electricity Supply Industry and Industrial markets providing them with individual solutions to any complex problem involving electrical power transmission.
· Based in Manchester and Newcastle, the division delivers complete turnkey solutions that meet these demanding needs as it uniquely combines its own local experience with the Siemens technology, leading-edge products and systems.
· We take complete responsibility for engineering, design, resource management, programme planning and achievement, supplier monitoring, on-site services, commissioning and continuous customer liaison.
· In addition, we also provide customers with tailor-made life cycle support for systems and plants

Our Graduate Engineers' Professional Development Scheme:

· Transmission Solutions offers a professional development programme, accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), for graduate engineers. This combines both personal and technical development, which leads to achieving Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer status.

Your qualifications:

· We are looking forcandidates who have achieved, or expect to achieve, a M Eng or B Eng degree inElectrical & Electronic Engineering (preferably 2.1 or above).

Your experience:

· It would be beneficial, although not essential, for applicants to have some relevant industrial experience – e.g. summer placements.
· Most importantly we are looking for graduates who can display enthusiasm for a career in electrical engineering (especially power engineering) and demonstrate extra-curricular achievement.
