SIEMENS Gebze factory is the lead factory for Air Insulated Switchgear production in SIEMENS World and exporting to more than 80 countries worldwide! For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation Division in Gebze we are searching for a GlobalProduct Care Design Engineer.

This role will be responsible of design of medium voltage air insulated switchgears (MV AIS) and update of user manuals such as Operation/Installation Manual.

What are my responsibilities?

Mechanical design and development of medium voltage switchgear.
Preparation of 3D design, assembly drawing, part drawing and material list (BOM).
Performing of product improvements activities coming from assembly line, production, and customer.
Technical support to other Siemens locations in scope of design, production, assembly etc.
Creating / editing / updating of user documents, especially installation & operating instructions based on IEC standards,
Preparation of illustration, graphic, photography of related products,
Creating 3D rendering image for related products,
Developing terminology and interface texts in user documents. (in English)

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Familiar with CAD software (preferably UG NX)
1-3 years of experience as Designer
Advanced command of English, German is an asset
Familiar with CMS (Content Management Systems) like Schema (Quanos) ST4
Good command of MS Office applications
Be eager to design.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
Strong willingness and ability to learn,
Able to work independently or in cross-functional teams, and concurrently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment,

Military service should be completed for male candidates
No restrictions for travelling abroad.
Driving license
