As a global leader in rolling stock technologies, we are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Global Head of Rolling Stock Engineering Hubs. 
In this role, you will lead our engineering teams across strategic hubs worldwide, driving excellence and innovation in the development of cutting-edge transportation solutions.

As the Global Head of Rolling Stock Engineering Hubs, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of world-class products and solutions that exceed customer expectations. You will play a key role in driving collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across our global network of engineering hubs (Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and India).

You will lead the small team of the global Engineering administration. It is preferable, that you perform your tasks in addition to an existing position within Rolling Stock, that you will keep.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the Rolling Stock Engineering Hubs, aligning activities with Siemens Mobility's vision and goals.
Team Development: Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the engineering teams, promoting professional growth and talent development.
Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes, efficiency, and quality.
Technology Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technology trends and industry developments, driving innovation and the adoption of cutting-edge solutions in rolling stock engineering.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of engineering activities with product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Global Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among geographically dispersed engineering teams, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice exchange.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in rolling stock engineering projects to ensure successful project delivery.
Supplier Management: Collaborate closely with local Engineering service suppliers to flatten the influence of changing demands on the head count structure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Master degree in Business Administration
Proven leadership experience in rolling stock engineering or related fields
Deep understanding of rolling stock engineering principles, technologies, and industry standards.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation and change.
Strong leader for integration intercultural growing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Business fluency in English is key; additional languages are always appreciated! 
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage complex projects in a global environment.
