Functional Safety Engineer (rolling stock projects)

If so, we would be glad to see you in our team as Functional Safety Engineer.
Safety Engineer works closely with Hazard Owners and Safety Managers. He/she checks whether the architecture of safety-related vehicle functions is suitable to meet the SAS determined in the project-specific Hazard Log.
What will you work on with us?
- Maintain the specification of fault-free functions as the basis for interdisciplinary tests of the entire vehicle
- Check and correct the architectures planned by the Design Engineers, Hazard Owners and other platform managers
- and definitionof safety requirements for SW, HW as well as external systems
- Prepare risk assessment of safety-relevant train functions
- failure scenarios and the associated safety measures
- Prepare safety analyses and safety-relevant documentation
- and supporting the project team from a safety perspective
- Presenting work results to our internal and external partners (e.g. Assessors, Homologation Manager, etc.)
What you need to join our team:
- Higher education in electrical engineering or IT
- Familiar with electrical and electronic diagrams
- FMECA and FTA method knowledge
- Experience in system modeling (e.g. MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsodyor MS Visio)
- Knowledge of some of the following safety standards (for example TSI, CSM RA, SIRF, EN 50129, EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 13849) is an advantage
- Fluent knowledge of English OR German AND Czech
- The ability to work in a team and analytical thinking are necessary
