Then we would like to welcome you as part of our global team as a Full Stack Developer (f/m/d) (.NET, C#, possibly C, DevOps, ..) to contribute significantly to the development of software for our automation systems.
Choose your best place for your work - within the scope of this position, it is possible to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 50% of the respective working time in coordination with your manager.
The job covers a broad and interesting range of activities from customer contact to product management and development responsibility. It offers a comprehensive and interesting insight into the Substation Automation and Protection business line with a focus on the solution part.
What part will you play?
- In your new role, you will work on the solutions our customers need to protect and control the energy grids of tomorrow. The digital transformation of the electrical energy system and the challenges of the energy transition require new thinking and breaking with paradigms.
- As a developer, you will work on the development of our software for our cutting-edge and modular products and platforms. You are responsible for the implementation of extensions and maintenance of our software for the automation of energy systems.
- You translate customer requirements and problems into concrete tasks and solutions and set up corresponding user stories and features in the LEAN/agile development process environment.
- You create specifications and documentation for your software and develop tests and test automations
- You work in an agile and cross-functional team
- You fully contribute your previous experience and cooperate with the requesting department and users in the integration of the software systems into higher abstraction levels
- You present your solution to internal customers and work out its optimal use in each case
- You coordinate / design the interfaces between different software solutions

- You have a degree in computer science or a comparable technical education with several years of professional experience.
- You have many years of relevant experience in the development of software in an agile DevOps environment.
- You have experience with SW development for MS and on Linux
- You program confidently in C# or C, you have experience with .NET or a DevOps environment, package managers (npn, nuget, conan) and pipelines are no foreign words for you and you are well versed in modern, professional software systems (github). Experience with programming within the SIEMENS TIA platform is a great additional advantage.
- As you will be working in a German-speaking environment, you must be fluent in German. English is also a requirement in order to understand the relevant technical documentation for SW development.
- You convince us with your structured, solution- and goal-oriented approach and work methodology.
- You are able to close gaps in your knowledge independently and share acquired expertise with your team
