Siemens is operating a Software Development Center in Aveiro targeting Intelligent Solutions for the future of Mobility. We want YOU to join our team in the capacity of:
Frontend-Developer (m/f/d)
Your role
● Develop and maintain scalable and robust software components using Typescript, React, and Go;
● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards;
● Participate in the design and development of new features and capabilities for the S3 Passenger platform;
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software;
● Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs, and provide solutions to complex problems;
● Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in web development technologies and programming languages.
● You will closely work with our dynamic and agile IMS teams from HaCon and eos.uptrade. Occasional business travel to the Netherlands and/or other locations may be required.
Your profile
● Bachelor’s degree in both working and technical proficiency (e.g. HBO ICT, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Technical Management);
● Good experience in web development, for example using Typescript, React, and Go;
● Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
● Good understanding of software development best practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment;
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently;
● Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to complex problems.
