Join us at Siemens as a Finance and Commercial Officer based in Poole as part of our Global Services IT department. As Finance and Commercial Officer you willsupport the commercial activities in partnering the management of the Europe IT function. You will ensure the integrity of the financial information and provide analysis for the Europe IT function.The role will suit an enthusiastic individual starting out or a couple of years into their Finance career seeking a permanent opportunity within a large global organisation.Siemens will provide professional finance training and financial support to become a fully qualified management accountant (CIMA).

What are my responsibilities?

· Analyse and execute the IT function's inputs into the planning and reporting process, including the annual budget cycle and profit, cost centre, balance sheet and cash flow reporting to local management.
· Provide inputs into the accounting and controlling process for a business area, including postings and analysis.
· Support the compliance culture of the business by participating in theprocesses for risk management, internal control, audit, financial reporting and tax compliance.
· Contribute to the management and control of the commercial part of thesupplier contracts for the business area.
· Contribute to the definition and provide control ofbusinesscases & customer pricing strategy. Provide internal benchmarking and scenario calculations.
· Contribute to the execution and control of efficiency and other process improvement programs.
· Maintain and control reporting data within the Balanced Scorecard and Pumaweb (productivity tool) forEuropean countrieswhere appropriate.
· Support the transition and change projects; collect data for due diligence, monitor project costs and report on financial position of projects.
· Ensure allfinancialtasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner

What do I need to qualify for the role?

·
Driven and keen to progress and work towards the CIMA qualification.

· Business, Financeknowledge and working towards CIMA would be preferred.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· SAP knowledge is beneficial.
· Some experience in Accounting and Controlling, Reporting, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
· Flexibility around working hours at peak times.

Additional information:

Some travel within theUK and Europewill be required occasionally
