Job description

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a talented and experienced Finance Analyst.

Underthe direct supervision of the Lead Financial Analyst and the Director ofService Management, the Financial Analyst will assist with the development,administration, and maintenance of the Digital Customer Experience organization(DCE)  Run/Invest budgets in cooperation with all groups across DCE andoutside of DCE, where applicable, in conformance with DCE policies. He/she willdevelop financial projections, helps with the maintenance of DCE’s financial planningmodel, and ensures the systems, processes and procedures are in practice tosupport the annual budget process. The position includes preparation ofinternal reports, analysis, and financial forecasts to support the annualbudget processes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and reporting of the annual operating budget, including preparing consolidated budgets, developing, and ensuring adherence to timeliness related to the budget process.
  • Participate in the ISA process across DCE and look for incremental improvements. Ensure the ISA Process is fully documented, step by step.
  • Coordinate & collaborate with all DCE Teams and central controlling to ensure that the DCE financials are recorded accurately.
  • Track Internal resource planning, plan monthly forecast reviews & coordinate budgets during the planning cycle across DCE.
  • Report productivity topics across DCE.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations, background, and other information for Senior DCE Leadership. Respond to ad-hoc requests from DCE Leadership.
  • Assist groups and develop projected financial results throughout the fiscal year by working with departments, external sources, and Finance personnel. The results would provide validation/modification to the working budget and assist with the long-range financial planning model.
  • Prepare budget transfers throughout the fiscal year. Follow up with departmental questions and concerns related to budget.
  • Assist with the detailed analysis of variances from budget throughout the fiscal year and at fiscal year-end. Work with departments to adjust budgets accordingly based on internal needs.
  • Perform other financial analysis as needed.
  • Recommend, implement, and enforce rules and policies regarding budgets, internal control, and risk assessment.
  • Explore new possibilities, opportunities, and new ways of accomplishing budget tasks. Reviews current processes related to budget development for possible improvements and revises those processes to be more efficient.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE &SKILLS:
Education/Training/WorkExperience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required: Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience including budget development, financial analysis, financial statement preparation.
  • Excellent administrative, oral, and written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, understands how decisions fit within the overall DCE / Shareville Program agenda and navigate the environment.

Specialized Knowledge& Skills:

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently to establish priorities and meet critical reporting deadlines to support the Division and College.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

Basicwage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2000 EUR brutto /month +VAR*
