We are looking for a Final Assembly Team Leader based in our Hingham, MA location.
In this role you will ensure daily production targets are achieved, taking quality, quantity and delivery on time in consideration. Verifying the appropriate use of equipment and machines assigned to personnel prioritizing safety. Responsible for providing support to production supervisor to achieve set objectives as well as supervising personnel in charge.
Direct contact: Production Manager, Production Supervisor Multifunctional team, Operators under their responsibility.
Responsibilities / Assignments
Ensure safety personnel understands risks in operation and knows safety measures used to prevent injuries. To assure safety of operators
Staff development Through training in basic and critical operations To assure operators mutability
Production plan revision Daily plan & priorities meeting To validate daily goals and critical orders. Adherence to production sequence.
Daily production target Updating & communicating daily production results in daily meeting as well as
Ensure visibility and efficiency regarding limitations/material shortages
Line balancing in production lines (if necessary) Assigning tasks to operators to ensure continuity of flow and achievement of critical orders. To ensure that daily targets are met with the staff available, and to ensure that there is someone assigned to critical jobs.
Finished good notifications Closing work order through SAP To clear material from system & deliver to following area.
Clearing Quality Issues Working together with quality inspectors to correct any issues preventing jobs to move to shipping
Tracing & follow up of critical jobs ensuring operators are working on the critical jobs according to the sequence and plan discussed daily with production supervisors to assure prioritization of jobs and meeting daily targets
5S Methodology Making sure workspace is tidy and organized To maintain a clean working environment and promote lean manufacturing
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Previous experience in Assembly as well as successfully leading people.
Advanced knowledge of 5S Methodology
Advanced knowledge of SAP and MS Office
SPS Yellow Belt Desirable
Knowledge of Vietnamese Desirable
Minimum of HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)

- The pay range for this position is $27-$39 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
