What are my responsibilities?
· Implementation of internal Siemens regulations
· Implementation of national legal regulations into internal ITC business regulations
· Analysis of business and logistic processes regarding Export Control and Customs relevant issues and alignment of these processes, including integration of Export Control and Customs tools into local IT systems (master data bases and order processing systems, including establishment and maintenance of system documentation
· Decisions arising from DAMEX (internal export control software) checks
· Advising the business and providing training with regards to Export Control legislation
· Implementation of regulations (developed by Corporate ECC department) for and controlling of
· Customs security programs
· import and export transactions
· monitoring of relevant data for customs compliance purposes
· - determination of customs value
- development and maintenance of export control and customs relevant product master data
· Conducting regular spot checks (monthly)
· Communicate Export Control requirements with other departments
What do I need to qualify for this job?
· Good knowledge of Export Control regulations
· Good knowledge of International Trade procedures
· Fully conversant with MS Outlook / Excel / Word / PowerPoint
· Excellent communication skills
· Used to working as part of a team and with the ability to provide clear instruction to others where applicable
· SAP experience preferable
