Position Overview
Siemens Logistics LLC is looking for a dual role candidate (ExportControl Coordinator / Subcontract Management) for our Airport project executionbusiness in the provision of state of the art baggage handling systems. Thisposition is two-fold acting as an Export Control Coordinator as well as supportingsubcontract management activities.
What you will do:
Export Control Coordinator is the central internal point of contact forinternational shipments having the following responsibilities:
· Createthe import/export documentation process flow (BOL, Brokers, Import/ ExportDocs, etc.)
· Ensurecompliance with the documented procedure for imports/exports
· Coordinatewith the Suppliers to create the import/export documentation
· Interfacewith US Customs and our Broker(s) as needed for international shipments
· Createthe repository for import documentation
· Coordinatewith Legal to ensure compliance with import/export laws and regulations
SubcontractManagementis a support role having the following responsibilities:
· Researches project diversity requirements and locates potentialcertified contractors and services
· Solicits quotes from the potential subcontractors includingmanagement of the RFQ documentation
· After a project is won, initiates the subcontracts with the successfulbidders working with Legal, PM, CPM and BPM to verify T&Cs and scopeapplicable to the project
· Supports the projects with change order pricing and processing ofthe corresponding subcontract PO update
RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Knowledge of Import/Export shipping documentation as well as regulationsand requirements
· Advanced hands-on knowledge of SAP, Excel and Microsoft Office
· BS/BA in related discipline, advanced degree, or relevantexperience
· Highly self-motivated individual who requires and prefers littleguidance from manager
Excellent communications skills, including the ability to provide data in aconcise and appropriate manner
· 1-3 years of experience
· Adaptability to a fast paced and changing business environment
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Advanced knowledge of SAP is a plus
· Previous experience in working with US Customs is a plus
· Expert knowledge of Excel is a plus
· Previous experience in the creation of subcontracts

- The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
