Goal of the position: This role conducts independent comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls.
Tasks:
- Evaluate IT applications and infrastructures from cybersecurity point of view
- Collaborate with clients (ISO, Application Owners, System administrators) to create assessments using available operational manuals
- Conduct IT system reviews and prepare risk assessments
- Identify residual risks in case of deviations and propose solutions for mitigations
- Evaluate specific IT systems as part of project assignments
- Contribute to the development of the internal Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Collaborate with the Information Security Officer (ISO) on various cybersecurity-related topics
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English at a negotiation level
- Experience in cybersecurity/IT security
- Knowledge of IT systems
- Networking knowledge
- Familiarity with various operational models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Knowledge of encryption protocols and algorithms
- Broad understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
- Fundamentals of vulnerability management and patch management
- Basic knowledge of secure configurations (CIS benchmark)
- Project management mindset
- Quality assurance mindset
- Strong communication skills
Advantages:
