Today, we are recruiting for Environment and Social Compliance Expert who can Join Our Team in Karachi office and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Your Role – Challenging and Future-Oriented!

·  Assisting the Business Unit EHS Head and OHS Expert on all EHS related matters specifically on environment and social compliance.
·  Providing strategic advice and guidance to EHSMiP(s) on all EHS and Environmental and Social Compliance related matters.
·  Rolling out of EHS annual objectives/ initiatives and development of Siemens EHS objectives
·  Providing support to Business Unit / Contract / Project Managers and EHSMiP(s) in the development and roll-out of Business Unit EHS objectives and other initiatives.
·  Assistance and support to Business Unit EHS Head for development of tendering phase documentations (e.g. EHS costing, Environmental and Social Management Plans etc.).
·  Providing support to Business Unit EHS Head for implementation of PM @ Siemens guidelines
·  Assistance and support to Business Unit EHS Head in incident and accident investigations through an appropriate Investigation process.
·  Ensuring 'best-practice' and developing 'leading-edge' EHS initiatives to BU/ projects.
·  Assistance and support to Business Unit EHS Heads in the timely reporting of both leading and lagging EHS Indicators.
·  Undertaking lagging indicator reviews of incident / accident trends and providing timely advice to Business Unit EHS Heads and Business Unit Management on actions and initiatives.
·  Conduct EHS Audits and Inspect projects EHS performances in line with Siemens guidelines.
·  Providing mentorship and training for EHSMiP / new recruits into the Business Unit EHS team as appropriate for the environmental and social compliance.
·  Providing cross-Business Unit support as required.
·  Developing EHS educational material to support Business Unit EHS initiatives on (environmental and social compliance) topics.

  Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!

·  Minimum 10 years in Environmental Protection, Health Management and Safety role, or association with EHS role in another industry.
·  Lead / EHS Management experience with project / contract experience in Project Business.
·  Excellent working knowledge with relevant legislation and regulations.
·  Relevant trainings in EHS role (certificate complementary) Minimum are as follows:
·  Climate change Reporting
·  Carbon footprint verification
·  Incident Accident & reporting
·  Implementation of safety
·  Good planning and organizational skills
·  Effective / competent MS Office Suite User
·  High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
·  Degree in relevant, industry or EHS specific discipline. MS in Environmental Sciences would be highly interesting
·  NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma (desirable)
·  Lead auditor in OHSAS 18001, EMS 14001
·  RCA - Accident / incident Investigator
·  able to prepare monthly/weekly Progress Reports and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs
