The role
We’relooking for an Entry Level Project Manager to join Siemens in our Electrificationand Automation business on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutionsand making the world a smarter place for tomorrow. Previous experience as aproject manager is not essential -you bring your passion, organisation skills, and a desire to learn and grow,and we’ll provide the training to help unleash your potential and open the doorto a new career.

The successfulcandidate will receivetraining, mentoring and coaching to support their development to excel, andyou’ll be working closely with more senior Project Managers to supportyou to reach your potential.
We’re looking for someone who can:
● Plan and Deliver: You willbe responsible for the planning, scheduling and resourcing of a high volume ofsmall projects, ensuring that the project is delivered against health andsafety requirements, contract terms, and timelines are met. You’ll need todemonstrate your ability to be organised and focused, while carefullyallocating resources.
● Cope and Adapt: Projectsand plans change. You’ll need to be able to cope with the pressure and adaptaccordingly, ensuring that priorities are reassessed and all projects are kepton track despite the challenges.
● Learn and Grow: Newtechnical information, knowledge and a complex environment means learning andgrowth will be key to success. You will need to be able to demonstrate that youare able to acquire the knowledge you need to perform in an engineeringenvironment.
● Interact and Liaise: You willinteract with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and customers, liaising andinfluencing as needed. As projects change over time, managing customerexpectations is key to ensuring the project runs smoothly. Balancing the needsof the engineering team, with the delivery of the project will take skills ininteracting and communicating.
● Process and Evaluate:Processing all the incoming information, and thinking carefully and rationallyto come to decisions effectively and efficiently will support your success. Aswe do not require experience, you’ll be someone that can process newinformation, and make carefully informed evaluations within new knowledgedomains.
