What is this opportunity?

In this role as Engineering Specialist (Electrical Services), you will be managing, design, technical programming, start-up and commissioning of Electrical Services projects on both new and upgraded installations. Your team will include electricians, designers, and sales executives. Your involvement will start with the conceptual design and continue through the detailed design, handover to site staff, construction support and project closure. 

What will you do?

• Manage Electrical Services contracts and associated customer relationships.
• Manage Electrical Services projects financially, as well as installation and commissioning of the projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications and contract documents to define project parameters.
• Manage project scope, schedules and quality.
• Select system components to ensure functionality and compliance
• Define component locations to ensure ease of installation, operation and functionality.
• Responsible for technical design, programming, start-up and commissioning of assigned projects.
• Support the field team during the execution of the project.
• Complete all project closures tasks.

What will you need to succeed?

• Education and work experience that provides a strong technical understanding of electrical systems
• Project Management and technical experience in the electrical systems field is crucial
• Knowledge of Siemens Electrical Products (EP) including WinPM, and Power Manager
• Excellent computing skills; strong with using MS Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer service oriented; collaborative nature
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing
• Training will be provided on our product line and other related topics relating to the position. A willingness to learn is essential for success.
• Asset: Experience with Siemens Building Automation Systems (BAU) and Desigo
