TheProject Manager position willbe based at the Siemens Healthineers Mishawaka, IN location. This individual willbe responsible for the planning and the execution of the engineering and facilitiesprojects for a Medical device production manufacturing site. This individual willbe responsible for project team management and project reporting. The position requiresthe ability to identify problems and lead proactive, problem solving efforts toachieve project goals. The project manager will be responsible for writing theURS and communicating with the suppliers to make sure they understand the requirements.The individual will be responsible for developing and leading the execution ofthe validation protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Develops project plans, coordinate the project teams andholds regular meetings to move multiple projects to completion.

·      Coordinates with Facilities, Engineering, Procurement/SupplyChain, Quality, Finance and Operations, to ensure the project is deliveredon-time, on-budget and to the desired quality.

·      Gathers and analyze information to prepare status reports andpresent to stakeholders.

·      Develop, assign, and track actions needed to keep the projecton track.

·      Needs to help develop validation protocols with the teams toexecute and in support of facilities and operational needs.

·      Responsible for leading different team members to applyanalytical methods to realize solutions.

This positionmay suit you best if you are familiar with:

·      Successfully delivered large, complex projects and managedmultiple projects at the same time using standards for project management.

·      Good PC skills (MS Office software Suite, MS Project, andother software) and you have worked with ERP systems such as SAP.

·      Worked with technical data and therefore your data analysisskills, LEAN, Six Sigma, and SPC experience is a key benefit.

·      Worked within a Medical Device (IVD) / Regulatory environment.

·      Since this position is interacting and motivating the projectteam, excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsare crucial.

·       Excellent presentationskills, effectively communicate to management and know when to escalate.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • BS in Engineering Field preferably Electrical, Computer, or Controls Engineering
  • BS in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or other technical field
  • 3+ years of project planning and execution including schedule development, project control and monitoring, team management, and financial budgeting/business case development
  • Experience managing projects within a factory environment (manufacturing, warehouse, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with systems validation
  • Knowledge in Lean manufacturing, TPM, and VSM
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
  • Must be self-directed and have excellent initiative and organizational skills
  • Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy
  • Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
