Engineer - Design & Development ( for SITIPE)

Job description

Job Profile:
Development and delivery of parts of (a) software component(s) in projects based on the software design.
Analyze software requirements and software functional specification.
Significant contribution to client or R&D projects for the whole project lifecycle (definition to successful delivery), explicitly during the definition and implementation phase.
Write code/test code for part of software component/ work product. Unit test the implemented solutions.
Investigate and fix software defects found by test / review team to ensure product quality.
Demonstrated solid understanding of Lean software development methodologies, values, and procedures.

Desired Qualification and Experience
BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a college/university of repute and having an excellent academic track record
3-7 years of professional experience in SW development (explicitly code/test-code development within software project using the relevant programming languages and tools as well as relevant technology)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a process oriented software organization
Programming language skills – experience in C#
Object Oriented Programming, design and debugging skills
Basic knowledge of XML, SQL
Advanced level knowledge of software development life cycle.
Advanced level knowledge of Software engineering process.
Good command over English in written and spoken communication
