Global Delivery Network (GDN) is the organization within Siemens Industry Software responsible for the global delivery of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) services. With its centers in India, Malaysia, Mexico, and Poland, GDN is successfully delivering implementation and support projects of PLM and MOM systems for leading industry companies worldwide.

We are looking for candidates who would contribute to the further development of our solution, product, technical and infrastructure practice within our Delivery Center in Wroclaw. Hybrid working is possible.

Area of responsibility

• As GDN Engagement Manager you will actively maintain and develop relationships within customer accounts in the DACH region and drive the positioning and messaging of the customer engagement. Parallel to this you will work together with the sales and presales team to identify and lead the engagement with all relevant external and internal Partners, advocating PLM and MOM solutions and the value that we can deliver.
• Engagement Managers are part of the Proposal team, participating in delivering customer presentations to win new Software and Services opportunities. With the support of relevant SMEs and Project Management Team, you will help create the Solution Outline, Rough Order of Magnitude, contract, margin calculation and risk assessment for use in the commercial negotiations and project initiation.
• As an integral member of the bid proposal team, defining the service proposition with sales, presales and services, communicating a clear vision of the planned project objectives will be a key responsibility. Additionally you will be tasked with engaging customer stakeholders to address the importance of attention for organizational change management in relation to implementing successful PLM and MOM solutions.
• In this senior position, you will help develop and maintain services business initiatives, coach/mentor colleagues and facilitate methodology training (internal and customer facing) as well as participate in the respective Community of Practice.

Your qualifications

• Preferably you have experience in consulting activities in the area of complex IT transformations or you are passionate about technology and also have a strong affinity with today’s business challenges within the IT solution and definition & selling business.
• Education in Software/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering / Computer Science / Mechatronics / Robotics / Computing / IT or other related discipline
• Several years of professional services experience with at least 3 – 5 years of experience in project definition / delivery / management
• A background in PLM or MOM solution and technologies would be a plus
• Excellent project management skills; can effectively manage and follow through on tasks and projects to successful conclusion
• Willing and able to travel to respective work locations in EMEA as required by engagement
• Proficiency in English, any German skills would be advantage. 
• Eligibility to work legally in Poland
