Position Overview:
Assists with routine equipment component installation, trial runs and service activity runs to ensure that it meets specifications. Performs routine maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc. and completes required service or systems paperwork. Assists with responding to routine service or systems calls.
Responsibilities:
· Performs or assists with installation and checkout of electric and electronic components and associated interconnecting control wiring in DDC and Auxiliary control panels for systems and service installed jobs. Perform interconnecting control wiring. May assist in troubleshooting of wiring associated with DDC an Auxiliary control panels.
· Provides inputs and assists with preparation of as built drawings.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
· High school diploma or GED. Associates degree or other technical training and mechanical aptitude preferred.
· Demonstrates a basic knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
· Generally, up to 2 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire.
· 10% travel may be required
· Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
· Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan
