We are looking for EHSProfessional

You’ll make adifference by

·      Develop and execute health and safety plans in theworkplace according to legal guidelines, Customer, and organisationrequirements.

·      Implementation & monitoring of EHS Management Systemaccording to International Standards (ISO14001 & ISO 45001). Implementationof Corporate Systems & Procedures at Project sites including customerrequirements (contractual).

·      Implementation of EHS Policy, guidelines, procedures &compliance to legal requirements to establish a culture of health and safetyetc. Provide clear, complete & binding instructions, as applicable.

·      Identifies, monitors, and analyses Environmental, Healthand Safety (EHS) issues and opportunities’ and adds value by using EHSindicators to improve processes.

·      Participating in EHS core team meetings in identifyingaspects & hazards at the workplace/facilities and establish controlmeasures. Guiding & training site personnel in implementing them.

·      Selection, evaluation & performance monitoring ofon-site contractors including a system of penalties & incentives.

·      Identify training needs, plan, and organize trainingprogrammes on EHS at different levels and Conduct training and presentationsfor health and safety matters and accident prevention.

·      Contributes to internal and external EHS audits - plan andconduct EHS audits at the project site & take corrective/preventive actionspromptly.

·      Identify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditionsand ensure corrective /preventive actions as approved by core EHS team.

·      Incident/Accident communication (escalation),investigation, analysis & recommendation of corrective & preventiveactions to the Project Manager, Project Team, BU EHS officer and Opc. EHSofficer.

·      Ensure use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) asrequired based on nature of work and Ensure availability of all safety gadgetsin the project sites.

·      Analyses and monitors adherence to EHS standards inassigned organizations and prepares regular EHS reporting.

·      Coordination with internal & external partners on EHStopic.

·      Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assessrisk and adherence to the requirements.

·      Work in partnership with senior and site management todevelop and implement strategies, policies, and services to increase employeesafety & reduce organization risks.

·      Prepare and update EHS Legal register.

·      Analyses and reports on changes in relevant EHS laws andregulations and recommend changes for internal standards.

·      Supports the site management to improve health and safetyand to minimize the impact on the environment.

·      Ensures EHS communication flow and reporting.

·      Escalates issues to next level in situations where issuescannot be solved, where the business will suffer significant impact or in casesof noncompliance with legal, business or client demands.

·      Provides proactive EHS advice to the Site Team

Desired Skills:

·      You Minimum 2 years of experience in Rail Industry;Preference will be given to the candidates having Loco/Metro CoachManufacturing/Assembly

·      Full time Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineeringwith Post graduate diploma in Industrial Safety & Environment (PGDISEM) approvedby state technical board /RLI/CLI/NICMAR

·      Added advantage: will be with candidates possessing ME inindustrial safety management from NIT, NEBOSH qualified and Certified LeadAuditor for ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
