What are my responsibilities?

§  Support the Factory Management inmaintaining an effective EHS Management System with processes for the effectiveplanning,

   organization, control, monitoring, review, and maintenance of thepreventive and corrective measures

§  Ensure implementation of Siemens EHSKPIs reporting system (EHS dashboards, incident investigations, Quentic, etc.)with focus on

   monitoring and continual improvement Implementation& monitoring of IMS (Integrated Management System) according toInternational

   Standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001). Drive the EHS implementation

§  Organize & conduct monthlySafety round & meeting with Factory manager.

§  Selection, evaluation &performance monitoring of Contractors working in factories including a systemof penalties & incentives.

§  Identify training needs, plan andorganize training programmes on EHS at different levels.

§  Plan and conduct EHS assessment of the factory & take corrective actions promptly.

§  Identify near misses, unsafe acts& unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions. Review & analyzeUA/UC & follow up for compliance.

§  Incident/Accident reporting andcommunication (escalation), investigation, analysis & recommendation ofcorrective & preventive actions.

§ Periodic reviewing of Emergencypreparedness plan & carrying out mock drills. Coordination with internal& external partners on  

   EHS topic.

§  Liaison with local authoritiesfor statutory EHS related compliances

§  Co-ordinate with the Factory Heads,other factory EHS Officers & stakeholders for overall EHS implementation inthe location.

§  Co-ordinate with RC IN EHS, SI BU &OpCo EHS, including Health Management on specific EHStasks assigned.

• Conductperiodic site assessments and drive implementation Corrective Action andPreventive Action (CAPA) for areas of improvement.
• Evidencedtraining/expertise in the broader spectrum of EHS topics.
• Expertlevel knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system and implementing/managing management system elements.

What do I need toqualify for this job?

Experience:

§ Overall,7 - 10 years of successful industry experience in driving EHS SystemImplementation / Project Management.

§  Strong knowledge of Factoryrelated Legal & applicable statutory requirements.

§ Experiencein managing safety in complex shop floor operations will be an added advantage.

Education & Training:

§  Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical),

§  Advanced Diploma in IndustrialSafety (ADIS) (BTE Approved)
