Siemens Mobility is looking for an Environment, Health ans Safety (EHS) Officer reporting directly to the CEO, to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan.

Your Challenge
As an EHS Officer you will define function related standards, guidelines, processes and procedures for assigned organization and you will support and advice the CEO of assigned organizational unit in all EHS matters.
Some of the main activities will be to:
- Implement superior EHS policies and guidelines. and defines, adjusts and implements EHS regulations and processes.
- Collaborate in the drafting, revision, and periodic update of all system documentation (e.g., standard operating procedures, risk assessment document, safety and coordination plans, emergency plan, etc).
- Take part in the analysis of incidents (recordable injuries), including near-miss cases, to highlight any trends, identify possible causes of the incident, mitigate risk situations, and prepare necessary preventive and/or corrective measures.
- Take over the responsibility of RSPP Responsabile Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione developing the required intervention plans for the continuous improvement of safety standards and to verify safety conditions, hygiene of premises, machinery, and plant equipment.
- Partner with other company functions to monitor the proper management and disposal of waste, including wastewater treatment, in accordance with Siemens rules and regulations and all the applicable regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Provide operational support to maintain full compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and company policies on EHS and resolve any not-compliance issue (ISO standard-ISO 14001, Legislative Decree no. 231, and OHSAS ISO45001).
- Ensure the definition of safety training programs and conducts the safety trainings provided to new employees (onboarding orientation) by monitoring its effectiveness and efficiency, encouraging corrective actions when needed.
- Carry out inspections to verify the effectiveness of the company's safety and environmental management system.
- Edit all the relevant EHS documentation such as the PSC (Piani di Sicurezza e Coordinamento) and POS (Piani Operativi di Sicurezza), required for the execution of Siemens activities within the active worksites, and verify the availability and consistency of the EHS documentation for all the involved Siemens’s subcontractors and suppliers;
- Manage all the paperwork’s communications, notifications and permits to ensure compliance of workshops and construction sites with Siemens and Italian EHS policies, rules, laws and guidelines;
- Conduct regular inspections of Siemens’s construction sites and workshops located throughout the national territory by reporting any findings and required recovery actions;
- Supervise compliance of employees with company rules and regulations on safety and the use of collective and individual means of protection made available to them.
To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:
- Specific skills in the execution of civil and transportation works both on railway and metro field, mainly in the public sector, in the management of all related aspects of workplace safety, as well as corporate workplace safety.
- An advanced knowledge of Safety Norms (Legislative Decree 81/08 and subsequent amendments) and Environment Norms (Legislative Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments).
