What do you contribute?
- You will work in the field of vehicle control in the concept development for the integration of train control systems on locomotives.
- You clarify and document the requirements for the software and hardware functions and take responsibility for these in the engineering and quality process.
- You apply the prescribed design methods and tools.
- You create software using a graphical project planning tool (PLC programming) and take responsibility for tool improvements.
- You coordinate and control the activities of other employees through the software development and testing life cycle.
- You provide support during validation and commissioning and help to optimize the overall train control function on the vehicle.
- You focus your work on the reusability of work results in terms of product and technical platform strategies.
What do you bring along?
- You have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
- Furthermore, you already have several years professional experience and knowledge in the areas of PLC controls and electrical circuit design.
- Knowledge of the integration, testing, operation and/or maintenance of automatic train control systems is an advantage.
- You are willing to travel occasionally at home and abroad.
- You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
