Design Engineer - Automation/HVAC Controls - Bridgeville, PA

Position Overview:

Are you ready for a challenging and rewarding career in the Building Automation Control Industry as an entry level Engineer? You will be responsible for design from inception to completion in providing our customers with World Class Solutions for their building heating and cooling needs. You will work with building owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and in-house project teams to provide complete control systems with outstanding customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

·  Providing a complete and operable control system
·  Value Engineering and cost control
·  Time management
·  Complete automatic temperature control submittals and installation documents
·  Material ordering
·  Engineering re-estimates
·  Ability to work with groups as well as independently
·  Provide technical support & trouble shooting
·  Problem solving
·  Understanding of mechanical equipment and its function in order to apply control strategies to meet project specifications, documents, and drawings.
·  Produce wiring and termination diagrams for installation
·  Project database including panel layouts
·  Valve, Air/Water Flow Measuring, VAV box, and damper schedules and submittals
·  As Built/Record drawings and Owners Maintenance manuals

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

·  Mechanical/Electrical BS Degree
·  Minimum 2-5 years of experience in controls or related field
·  Minimal travel
·  AUTOCAD experience
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
·  Ability to work with others

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

·  Mechanical/Electrical Associates Degree
·  Minimum 5 years of experience in controls or related field
·  Minimal travel
·  AUTOCAD experience
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
·  Ability to work with others
