Siemens Smart Infrastructure comprises intelligent energy supply and building technology, with Siemens' deep domain expertise in these two environments and digitalization as the foundation. In addition, Smart Infrastructure will focus on the point of connection between the grid and buildings, where a whole new world of solutions is growing – a new market from energy storage and electric vehicle infrastructure to microgrids and digital solutions.
Together they can strengthen all the products that are needed and used in building systems, low-voltage and medium-voltage systems for buildings, infrastructure and industry.
As an Apprentice you will join the sales team to actively engage in all key elements of the sales cycle. Based in our Digital Grid business within Siemens Smart Infrastructure, we create environments that care. This helps our customers thrive, communities to progress and support sustainable development to protect our planet for the next generation.
You will start by learning how sales works in our business; assisting in analysing the business, industry and sector competitors and identifying new customers, building and prioritising and managing the pipeline of prospects ensuring strategic and commercial fit. You will be involved in sales planning, solution development, developing proposals and post-sale delivery. You will also be involved in competitor and consumer insight and gain intelligence from digital and traditional sources and then use these insights to affect an actionable and ethical change of behaviors for mutual benefit.
The candidate
· You will have 3 A levels grade C and above or equivalent
· You will be customer focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills
· You will have strong ethics, trust and integrity
· You can work independently as well as an effective team contributor
