Data Engineer MSM (m/f/d)

SiemensHealthineers is looking for a talented and motivated individual to serve as a Data Engineer within our IT DigitalCustomer Experience Marketing and Sales Master data team. The right candidate willwork with the industry’s latest CRM, ERP and database technologies in supportof a highly focused and entrepreneurial department leading change, drivinggrowth and supporting key business services. The individual will contribute tothe overall objectives of the department and will be a hands-on technical resourceto a variety of cross-functional teams and global project initiatives. The candidate should have a solidbackground in key technologies with a focus on data management, dataintegration, system design and implementation. The ideal candidate will beinspired by technology and its use in an ever changing, fast paced environment.

Thisposition will strongly collaborate with the existing Data Cloud team as well assupport sustainability and scalability of existing potential practices in thebusiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement and document dataingestion all ETL processes.
• Construct ascalable data architecture utilizing both existing and new data sources.
• Maintaindatabase performance by creating automated components to monitor server health,logs, backups and recovery.
• Help architectan agnostic semantic data layer which will drive key business initiatives.
• Perform data profiling to understand datadomains, validation rules, data dependencies and lineage.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Data Vault 2

Required Qualifications:

·      Well-versedin relational database design.

·      Exceptionalknowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server (2012 and up).

·      Proficiencyin database management and administration.

·      Experiencewith processing and managing large data sets (multi TB scale).

·      Preferredexperience or knowledge of Data Vault 2.

·      BS/MSdegree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math or relatedfield.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL ServerIntegration Services (SSIS) or similar ETL tools.
• Experience incorporating cloud technologies(Azure, AWS).
• Experience with EDW practices such as slowlychanging dimensions and agnostic layers.
• Experience with Python or other scriptinglanguages.
• Experience with data viz platforms such as PowerBIand QlikSense.
• Experience in Big Data/NoSQL environments.
