We are seeking a dedicated Data Engineer to join our technology and innovation team, contributing to new technology development and innovation projects within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop both the data infrastructure and datasets essential for fueling the next generation of open models.
  • Collaborate closely with the modeling team and software engineers to establish data pipelines deployable in various scenarios.
  • Creatively source data to enhance model quality and safety, rigorously assessing their quality, and performing data preparation and processing at scale.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
  • Research, analyze, consolidate, and interpret data using statistical and data analytics methods to generate insights on business-relevant topics.
  • Aggregate large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements.

Qualifications

  • BSc, MSc, or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • +3 years of experience contributing to and supporting highly available, scalable data systems.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience with databases, data warehousing, query authoring, and familiarity with various databases.
  • Have experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and data analysis techniques.
  • Develop processes to support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Build data infrastructure and datasets for model training.
