Then come and join our Malaysia team as Data Analyst to empower digital solution through cutting-edge analytics, visualizations, and insights that enable smarter decisions. To explore new business opportunities enabled by data analytics and data driven insights and proposes them to the business stakeholders. 

Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • You are responsible to maintain an active network connecting with customers, business experts, and other subject matter experts to fully understand existing and emerging business data analytics requirements. Proactively identify potential data analytics driven business opportunities. 
  • You are responsible to conduct thorough exploratory data analysis, identifying relevant data sets that can provide meaningful insights. Continually assess company data assets to discover previously unseen relations between data components. 
  • You are responsible to recognize gaps in existing data. Define new data requirements to fill these gaps. Integrate newly captured data smoothly. 
  • You are responsible to develop and rigorously test data analytics prototypes in real operational environments. Validate prototype robustness. Summarize and clearly communicate findings to provide data-driven answers to targeted high priority business questions. 
  • You are responsible to collaborate closely with Enterprise IT and ASEAN Customer Services business units to ensure existing analytics systems are supported sustainably even with rapidly growing data volumes. Institute appropriate processes, in partnership with data architects, focused on safeguarding ongoing data quality and accessibility.

Your qualifications and experience:
  • You have a university degree in quantitative analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics or Engineering.
  • You have good understanding of data structures and foundation on statistics. 
  • You have minimum 1-year hands-on experience programming analytical algorithms in R or Python, MATLAB, SAS or similar platforms. 
  • You have solid understanding of ETL and Visualization technologies and tools e.g., Alteryx, Power BI(Mandatory), Qlik Sense, Tableau 
  • You have good skills and hands-on experience in working with large data sets, familiarity with SQL. (Mandatory) 
  • You have experience in data integration, data transformation, evaluation of data quality and data cleansing.

Your attributes and skills:
  • You have experience in working with large data sets, familiar with SQL.
  • You have experience with at least one data analytical language (e.g. R, Python, SAS, Matlab, Stata)
  • You have passion or interest in the healthcare industry.
  • You are self-starter with strong work ethic and sense of accountability.
  • You have proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You have experiences of IT service.
  • You have clear logic, good communication and organizational skill.
  • You have detailed product knowledge, SAP know how.
