This role is based in the UK with the flexibility of home-based work. It will require on-site work, taking you across GB & Ireland, with occasional international travel. Please note, it is advertised as Manchester as that is our HQ however the role can be based anywhere in the UK. 

For this role, we require a full UK driving license and candidates with the right to live and work in the UK. 

We are happy to consider both experienced and less experienced candidates - the key element we're looking for is automation engineering experience with a passion for Cyber-Security. 

Key Role Highlights:
  • On-site tasks include installing/configuring Endpoint protection, Firewall setup, and more.
  • Off-site responsibilities involve crafting security reports, designing secure OT systems, and contributing to technical pre-sales tasks.
  • Work across diverse industries such as Water, Gas, Power, Automotive, and others.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Preferred OT skills cover PLC, HMI, SCADA, Industrial Ethernet, and OT network security.
  • Bonus skills include vulnerability management, security monitoring, and risk assessment in OT environments.
Product Experience:
  • Familiarity with Siemens’ SCALANCE, RuggedCom, Palo-Alto, Trellix, and related products is beneficial.
Qualifications:
One or more of the following example qualifications are desirable, but we also take into account similar ones not listed, and also practical experience in OT systems:
  • Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, ISA 62443, or Siemens Certified Professional.
  • Degrees in Engineering (Control, Electrical, Electronic, Systems), Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet networks, Firewall setup, WSUS, secure remote access, and more.
