Job Description

What are my responsibilities?

· 
Operate distributed Linux-based application servers in a high-security environment. This includes general system administration tasks, patching, hardening, monitoring, automation etc.

· 
Operate a cloud environment. This includes automation, monitoring, improvement.

· 
Maintain a next-generation Distributed Event Collection and Big Data Analytics framework

· 
Build / integrate automation tools to deploy and monitor Cyber Defense Use Cases software.

· 
Operate and implement new functionalities

· 
Operate and develop Threat Intelligence feeds

· 
Support troubleshooting activities

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· 
Relevant work experience and experience in a related field preferred

· 
Background in information security is of advantage

· 
Experience Rolling-out of tools/services in large scale and distributed environments

· 
Data engineering skills with central log collection, indexes, searching and analysis

· 
Infrastructure management & automation frameworks experience

· 
Linux system administration skills

· 
Experience with the tech stack: PostgreSQL, MySQL, ELK, Syslog-NG, JIRA/Confluence, Vmware, Spark, Kafka, Flink, Git, virtualization and container technologies

· 
Essential networking concepts (OSI, switching/routing, IP/TCP/UDP/ICMP), technologies (Firewalls, proxies, VPN, DNS, IDS) and tools (WireShark, tcpdump)

· 
AWS technologies experience in some of the following: SageMaker, Amazon ML, Kinesis, Firehose, Glue, Lambda, Athena, S3, Glacier, VPC, Load Balancing, API Gateway, CodeCommit, CodeBuilt, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, IAM, Direct Connect, KMS, EMR, CloudWatch, CloudFormation

· 
CI/CD

· 
Development skills (scripting and high-level programming languages)

· 
Academic background in relevant field

· 
Relevant Certifications are a plus (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions' Architect/ Developer Associate, Linux Sysadmin, etc)

· 
Fluent in spoken and written English
