            Service Area – Baltimore, MD/ Washington, D.C. Area

            Shift Requirements after onboarding/training for thisrole:  Monday-Friday, 12pm-9pm

This is a role well suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As aCustomer Service Engineer I, you will be responsible for the following:

  • You will be servicing ImagingEquipment in the Baltimore, MD/ Washington, D.C. Area. Customer ServiceEngineer Level can be adjusted based on prior experience.
  • You are in a field-based,customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains and modifiesSiemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • You are the "Face of Siemens"to the customer.
  • You support the CT & PET-CTModality  initially, with potential tocross train into other modalities in the future.
  • You are flexible and willing towork different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate,including willingness to work overtime as required.  Advanced notice will be provided for anyshift changes. 
  • You report to the Regional ServiceManager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

This position may suit you best ifyou are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your careerwith Healthineers:

  • You have knowledge and experienceperforming service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on MedicalImaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • You have previous experience with thedesired Medical Imaging Equipment: CT & PET-CT Modality
  • You have the ability and experienceto establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers andpeers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties timely andaccurately.
  • You have a strong backgroundworking with electronics and are proficient in the use of service tools andservice test equipment
  • You have proficient PC skills (MSWindows & Microsoft Office 365 -Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)

Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role

  • Minimum Technical Degree orequivalent experience
  • Strong electronics background andcomputer skills required
  • 1-3 Years of field serviceexperience is desired
  • Ability to work both individuallyand in an established team setting
  • You have strong customer serviceand communication skills
  • Ability to travel and provideservice in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-callrotation after training and certification
  • Valid driver's license, ability todrive independently day and night, and good driving record required
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending,twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, finegrasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
