This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional,looking for the next step in their career. As a Customer Service Engineer,you will be responsible for:
- Building and sustaining strong partnerships withyour customers through the effective use of both technical expertise andinterpersonal skills.
- Serving as the company’s primary customer facingtechnical representative while working in collaboration with biomedicalengineers and other senior staff members in a hospital or clinical environment.
- Ownership of customer relationships with thegoal of upholding a high level of satisfaction with optimum service delivery.
- Working closely with clinical and sales partnersbest manage and grow your install base.
- Troubleshooting and resolving both hardware andsoftware issues with ultrasound equipment, either remotely or at a customersite.
- Managing installation, modification, and preventivemaintenance calls to ensure customer equipment operates at a high standard.
- Working with the Regional Service Director toachieve individual goals and targets for the region.
- Ensuring all work and equipment adhere to allstate and federal regulatory requirements.
- Submitting documentation required to remain incompliance with serviceable repairs.
- Maintaining a clean driving record in compliancewith company fleet vehicle policies

- MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Exceland Outlook).

- Requires someone to work well withoutsupervision, be a self-starter and can independently manager theirtime/schedule.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility, for both day-to-daywork and required company training.
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- Degree in electronics or equivalent combinationof education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of computers and networking.
- Ability to understand and apply electronic,mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment,including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
- Ability to understand and utilize technicalvocabulary to perform tasks according to either verbal or written instructions.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, andsolving complex technical issues.
- Strong customer service skills through clearverbal communication with customers that explains the diagnosis of the event ofthe CSEs.
- Must be able to be compliant with hospitalcredentialing requirements.
- Wide degree of creativity, leadership, andlatitude is expected.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks with minimaldirection.
- Ability to work professionally with all levelsof hospital organization staff.
- Excellent organizational, time management,written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel >75% of the time.

This position will be assigned to a specific regionbut may be a used a floater position, meaning that this person may need totravel (vehicle/airplane) to assist with business needs when needed.
