The role.

  • Customer Service Advocates (CSAs) are the primary point of customer contact for aftermarket and field support.
  • Customer Service Advocates (CSAs) will interact with all aspects of Siemens internal teams and departments such as Sales, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing etc…
  • If you are the successful candidate, you will report to the New Kensington Customer Service Manager and will be a vital part of supporting the Siemens New Kensington Large Drives customers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Customer Service Advocates:

  • Support Customers by navigating them through the Siemens processes and contacts.
  • Lead all aspects of assigned VIP & TSA Customer business.
  • Next level of support above tactical project management.
  • Ensures that project requirements are met
  • Owns the scope of work to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled on time and within budget
  • Maintains and monitors project margin throughout project lifecycle
  • Builds and implements the project plan
  • Requests and supervises the project team
  • Leads all aspects of project communications (reporting, correspondence, meetings, etc.)
  • Ensures that all Achievement requirements are complete
  • Forecasts (with team) and handles risks and opportunities
  • Leads change orders and claims
  • Coordinates installation, commissioning, and training efforts
  • Verifies, requests, and acquires customer acceptance of the system
  • Maintains lessons learned throughout the entirety of the project
  • Closes the project at completion and archives project files

Your profile.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • BS Degree in Engineering or Business
  • Confirmed customer support experience
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • 15% travel based on customer requested meetings and support

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of project management experience.
  • Engineering or technical background
  • Variable frequency drives experience
  • 4 - 5 years of customer service experience
  • SAP experience

The pay range for this position is $71,300 - $122,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
