Location: This is an on-site position at our Cary, NC office.

        As a CS VicePresident Modality Service – CT & MI, reporting to the North American Customer Services Leader, youwill be responsible for the following:

VP Service Effectiveness key responsibilities overview:

  • Technical Leadership: You serve as a technical expert within the company in the designated modalities of Computed Tomography (CT) and Molecular Imaging (MI), and provide guidance to teams providing service to CT/MI modality, and act as a point of escalation for high impact challenges within the CT/MI modalities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive service effectiveness strategy, aligned to the CT/MI modalities and the company’s goals and objectives. Provide strategic guidance to the field service delivery organization and other cross-functional teams. This includes partnering with Global Operations and Service Leadership to identify and solve common and systemic issues with performance across the installed equipment base.
  • Service Quality Assurance: ensure adherence to quality control measures and standards for service operations within CT/MI modalities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices
  • Operational Efficiency: continuously evaluate and enhance service delivery processes, resource allocation and workflow to optimize operational efficiency, reduce downtime and increase equipment uptime.
  • Reporting and Analytics: establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track service performance and identify areas for improvement. Present data-driven insights to influence decision-making

Additional Responsibilities:

  • You will partner with other members of the Customer Service Leadership team, to understand service challenges and provide solutions that impact customer systems, perform gap analysis, and drive training if necessary
  • You will utilize your technical expertise, to liaison with Business Lines, Global Service Leaders, the Field service organization, Customer Service Operations, and the Remote Service Center (RSC) to develop and implement strategies that have significant impact on the ability to improve service effectiveness, leading to customer satisfaction.
  • Liaison between the Field Service Delivery team and the Business Lines, to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulatory standards, as well as ensure the field service organization has the strategy and execution plan to deliver highly effective service for the modalities they are aligned to
  • You support and promote The Principles of Healthineers(TM) - what they are and how they support our Healthineers strategy and the Customer Service strategy of taking care of our people, customers, and shareholders.
  • Develop a high-performance culture that demonstrates teamwork and success.
  • Promote and display leadership skills that promote a culture of engagement throughout the team. 
  • Champion change and support the implementation of change management initiatives.
  • Actively collaborate with other functions across the globe and build partnerships within Sales, Services and Modality leaders.
  • Continually inform staff about the economic development of the business and customer feedback.
  • Identify strategies to improve employee safety.

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality customer service, contract obligations are met, internal requirements are met (information tracking, reporting) and financial targets achieved for the modalities

Shareholder Responsibilities:

  • Assist in meeting P&L targets for assigned modalities, focusing on cost per system in order to meet business goals and identify areas of concern that effect Revenue and Gross Margin (by modality), COGS (labor and material), Gross Profit, and Operational Expenses.
  • Collaborate with the Field Service and Sales organization, ensuring that a sales strategy is developed for their zone driving growth of the service business in new, renewal and recapture business.
  • Ensure Operations are able to meet quality certification standards, manage the installed base, and manage customer expectations, through routine works and escalations; direct the preparation and maintenance of quality and safety certifications.
  • Ensure the highest technical, operational, and financial performance of your modalities’ installation projects, equipment services and maintenance, and upgrades/updates of medical equipment, while following technical specification and requirements.
  • Assess resource development and training needs. Execute required manpower planning and calculation related to installed base development and budget frames in coordination with respective Service Zones.

  • You have technical expertise in CT/MI
  • You have past experience or foundation in the Medical Imaging business required.
  • You have proven experience in managing, leading and motivating managers, teams, and individuals.
  • You have proven expertise in delivering strategic and tactical initiatives through influence and communication
  • You are sensitive towards and experience with multinational companies, clients, and people.
  • You have proven ability in positive, successful collaboration with Senior Executives and C-Suite customers.
  • You have the ability to prioritize work, taking into account a complex matrix of input.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

·         BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required,or equivalent combination of education and experience; Certification may be requiredin some areas.

·         You have a minimum of 10 years of successful leadership experiencein a directly related field.

·         You have the ability to read, analyze and interpret commonscientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

·         You think strategically to address internal and external problems.

·         You effectively present information to co-workers and employeegroups, including upper management, customers at various levels and publicrepresentatives.

·         You have superior communication skills and ability to effectivelycommunicate with stakeholders at many levels within the organization andcustomers.

·       You have demonstrated ability to lead across cross-functional throughinfluence and partnership

·         You have excellent organizational skills and exceptional customerfocus.

·         You demonstrate and apply advanced knowledge of concepts,practices, and procedures for areas managed and expert knowledge of other areasin the company and how they interact.

·         You demonstrate advanced understanding and application ofmanagement approaches for work direction, motivation, and performancemanagement.

·         Experience with SAP, analytics, and automation tools is a plus.
