Job description

For our Customer Services - Service Corner organisation, we seek a dynamic, motivated, and team-oriented individual whose role would be to plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of Service Corner organisation in line with the global blueprint and regional strategy. Manage the performance of the office and production operations through process improvements, gap analysis and acting on direct feedback within the manufacturing process. This function has been established to define & manage AIS Medium Voltage Products production in the Customer to Customer (C2C) business environment. The target is to achieve initiatives with a cross-functional impact aiming at achieving lean and efficient organizational processes which will lead to a competitive advantage for Siemens Air Insulated Switchgear Community.


What are my responsibilities?
  • Administrate offer management, product management, order management and assembly functions within Service Corner Organisation
  • Receive customer orders from regions and execution of orders
  • Implement New Product Production Implementation Projects
  • Define and manage master data of production material & BoM of products
  • Execute procurement strategies for logistics activities
  • Design and implement production & testing environment
  • Manage the production infrastructure and manufacturing processes of assembly, pre-production and quality assurance areas for the main product platform.
  • Develop and maintain an Annual Value Stream Mapping, Strategy Deployment Plans
  • Lead continuous improvement to quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality, and service
  • Propose, drive and monitor new practices and report to the management team.
  • Partner with Production Management to create standard operating procedures for resource management
  • Follow Siemens Production System principles, support Customer Service HQ and other Siemens regional companies worldwide for the product and component deliveries.


What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required, preferably in engineering or related discipline
  • 8+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 4+ years of management experience, preferably production/manufacturing management
  • A minimum of 3-5 years Lean experience with Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes preferred
  • Broad understanding in customer-to-customer (C2C) business models within energy sector
  • Systemic problem solver, implementing solutions to solve root cause problems.
  • Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
  • Is confident to give people space to learn and make mistakes.
  • Strong written and oral communication and facilitation skills.
  • Creative and change-oriented Continuous Improvement process skills.
  • Understanding and proven experience of process mapping and quality techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methods (FMEA, Lean, 8D, 6sigma, Pareto, Ishikawa, etc.)
