Job description
The Siemens IT FIN AAE team consists of employees across Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East and is part of the global organization of IT Finance. We are overall responsible to develop, implement and continuously improve all relevant financial strategies, concepts, policies and business activities within the Siemens global IT organization. As the Controlling Specialist located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will be expected to perform the Country Controller role for ASEAN scope covering Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia for IT services and projects, which includes the commercial topics that are outlined below, but may not be limited to those mentioned.
You will make a difference by:
* Performing all aspects of yearly financial cycles such as planning, year-end closing, and monthly/quarterly reporting of the IT process and reporting: Services, Projects, Provider- / Receiver-view, Productivity, Headcount
* Ensuring consistency and accuracy of costs and recovery for IT services and projects
* Aligning and implementing regional IT, global IT and Business IT strategies
* Actively participating in the Finance community and seeks for process simplification, standardization and business efficiency including improvement possibilities and automation
* Displaying highly effective networking, collaboration and time management skills
* Supporting implementation of KlarIT and various reporting tools
Your success is grounded in:
* BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 3 - 5 of working experience in similar business controlling or finance roles, ideally in a Multinational Corporate Controlling environment
* Highly proficient in MS office, and a working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and related reporting tools preferred
* Good in business communication skills and strong adaptability on rapid changes
* Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
