This is a role well suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Generating contracts based on approved quotes, adhering to previously negotiated GPO terms and conditions and value adds.
- Participating in negotiations of terms and conditions based on customer requests, involving the appropriate parties to protect Siemens.
- Validating Siemens contracts. This entails matching the contract to the quote, ensuring all documents are signed at the right level before providing Siemens second signature and determining enforceability of the revenue stream under contract.
- Uploading executed contracts to the contract management database
- Serving as a partner to Sales, helping educate and guide them on terms and conditions and how to structure a deal to meet customer and Siemens’ needs.
- Participating in various projects such as audits, assessment of contracts containing various clauses, drafting language for promotions, or generating reports to reflect various circumstances.

Requiredskills to have for the success of this role
- Paralegal license or BS/BA Degree in Finance/Business/Marketing/HR
- 2-4 years of relevant experience as an intern or employee of Siemens Healthineers or in a relevant role preferably at a healthcare company selling capital equipment
- Healthcare Industry and/or legal/contract experienced desirable
- Skilled writer with interest in the nuances of contracts. Aware of financial impact of contract language or a willingness to learn same
- Experienced with tools including SAP, SHAREVILLE, Adobe, Word, Excel (or willing and able to learn)
- Must live in commutable distance to Malvern PA or Walpole MA Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics sites. Once trained, work from home most days with ability to work on site 1-2 day/week, or as needed
- Positively supports change and actively demonstrate Siemens’ values
