Your new role – challenging andfuture-oriented:

One must closely coordinate with the counterpart and monitorproject KPIs like quality, project budget and on time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Finalize rotodynamic design of single shaft and integrally gearedcompressors and compressor trains
  • (lateral vibration andtorsional analyses).
  • Check mechanical design of rotor parts (e.g., impeller strength,impeller dynamic design, impeller
  • shrinkage design).
  • Issue internal and external documentation of calculation results.(Includes customer documents)
  • Clarify technical aspects with clients and sub-suppliers, e.g.,customer design reviews.
  • Develop demanding, competitive solutions in cooperation withsales. Support R&D in development
  • projects.
  • Be a competent key-contact for challenging questions regardingrotor dynamics and rotor mechanics for
  • internal and especiallyexternal customers.
  • Support troubleshooting during testing and on site worldwide aboutrotor and machine dynamics of all
  • train components.
  • Checking the design i.e., doing design review internal with alldepts.
  • Dealing with PM, Sales, Forward Engineering, Thermodynamic Engineering,System Engineering, departments during execution.
  • Providing technical support to colleagues.
  • Ensure quality and timely deliveries of engineering documentation.
  • Knowledge of Tools/Software-GUI, SAP, Teamcenter will be addedadvantage.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

  • Mechanical Engineering background (Preferably Master’s degree andspecialization in
  • mechanical design OR Other comparable degree)
  • 2 to 7 years of relevant engineering work experience.
  • Ability to work independently with clarity on scope andresponsibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities.
  • Proactive and Solution Oriented. Ability to Pull inputs andinteract with interface partners.
  • Knowledge on turbo machineries and rotating equipment will beadded advantage.
  • Analytical skills, ability to understand cross culture people.
