Rate ofPay:           The salary range for this positionin Sacramento, CA is $ 129,064 - 146,600 per year and this role iseligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties:  Execute(individually or as member of an engineering team) customized production ordersunder minimum supervision, utilizing industry standards and best engineeringpractices. Provide drafting support to engineers on submittals, and as-builtdrawings. This includes the design of new components, modification ofmechanical drawings, and incorporate field or customerbased changes. Processhigh quality engineering changes using SAP in an accurate and expedient mannerto minimize impacts to production and the overall project. Collaborate withinterfacing systems engineers, designers, design leads, and Engineering ProjectManagers. Work with internal purchasing partners to achieve target costing fordesigns. Communicate with vendors to ensure appropriate product selection forthe intended use. Assure proper execution of the design, compliance withindustry standards and customer specifications. Create complex parts,assemblies and bills of material. Execute customized production orders while,utilizing industry standards and best engineering practices. Provide draftingsupport to engineers on submittals, and as-built drawings, including design ofnew components, modification of mechanical drawings, and incorporate field orcustomer-based changes.

Requirements: The position requires aBachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Engineering or in a relatedfield and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a relatedoccupation. The position requires experience in the following: 3 years ofexperience with PTC Creo 3.0 or equivalent; 5 years of experience with weldedsteel structures design, large and small welded and bolted assemblies,mechanical electrical integration, designing sheet metal parts, fiberglass andplastic part design; 5 years of experience creating bill of materials andreleasing parts using Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering ChangeNotices (ECN, ECO); 5 years if experience creating work instructions andcreating and presenting designs for internal and external design reviews; 5years of experience with AutoCad (2D models and drawings for legacy projects);5 years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management software (PLM); 5 yearsof experience with SAP (ECN, ECO, and ECR process). Telecommuting withincommuting distance from office is permitted 20% of the time.
