Location
This position will be located in Zug, Switzerland. The prerequisite is your legal eligibility to work in the respective country.
Your new responsibilities
- Professional management of your assigned commodities, IT software licenses/SaaS cloud services with a combined annual PVO of approximately €75 mio.
- Cultivate and sustain alignment among diverse stakeholders across different functions and regions, and coordinate and lead strategic sourcing activities within your area of responsibility
- Define, adapt, and implement cybersecurity, data protection, and sustainability measures within your supplier portfolio
- Negotiate global framework agreements and assist in negotiating regional framework agreements and tenders, utilizing advanced negotiation concepts and/or e-sourcing tools
- Be a part of the Siemens global pooling and procurement activities with the objective of establishing the optimal strategic purchasing conditions and supplier portfolio
- Drive process standardization and leverage digitalization and automation to increase process efficiency
- Utilize data analytics tools to support the advancement of process automation and to establish more constructive supplier interactions
- Manage all procurement related activities associated with your diverse portfolio of suppliers, including regular evaluations, negotiations, plan development, strategies, escalations, claims, audits, and contract management
- Active collaboration with the Software Clearing team
Your skills and experience
- Degree in software engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or an equivalent subject
- At least 3 years of experience working within IT software license/SaaS cloud service procurement or as a commodity manager in an international environment
- Contract negotiation experience with suppliers of IT software licenses/SaaS cloud services
- Thorough knowledge of contract law with practical experience in its application to IT software licenses/SaaS cloud services
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection within the context of IT software or software licenses/SaaS cloud services
- Knowledge of sustainability measures within the context of IT software or software licenses/SaaS cloud services
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand and review supply risks
- Additional cross-functional experience gained in other functional areas would be beneficial
- Applicant should possess a strategic mindset, have creative problem-solving abilities, and be results oriented
- An ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders within a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. German and/or another commonly used business language would be a plus
