Commercial Project Manager (CPM)

Job description

For our Permanent Establishment in Azerbaijan we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) at the earliest opportunity.

The CPM is fully responsible for all commercial related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, NCM and ECC topics. CPM ensures the compliance of applicable regulations during the offer and project execution phase. He/she is supporting the Project Manager in all other areas where a takeover of responsibilities from the PM is decided and/or a useful contribution is applicable

What are my responsibilities?

· Manage Project finances on the basis of contractual developments and risk situation
· Manage the project enabler processes
· Manage the project throughout the project Life Cycle
· Manage project team
· Manage customer requirements
· Manage stakeholders (internal, external)
· Manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations
· Develop strategies for the project and beyond

• What do I need to qualify for this job?

· University degree in Economics (Finance)
· Professional commercial knowledge and experience in the financial management of projects and in the financial management itself.
· At least 3 year of commercial experience of managing cross-organizational category Small projects - or equivalent responsibility for cross organizational sub projects
· Leadership experience in projects and/or in line organizations as well as intercultural working experience required.
· Knowledge of international contract law
· Knowledge of accounting principles
· Fluent in written and spoken English

• Additional information

The Commercial Project Manager 'C'-Projects is taking full responsibility for all commercial/finance related matters. The CPM is supporting the Project Manager (PM) in all other areas for Siemens cross-organizational category 'C'-projects with the objective of executing the project within the defined targets (e.g. costs, time, quality) and ensuring customer satisfaction. A professional collaboration between the PM and the CPM is key for the overall project success.
