For our Directly be responsible for assigned customers’ contracts & order related commercial work and manage related financial performance team, we are looking for a [position] to help us drive [business] within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.

You'll make an impact by

  • Creates sales order for the customer (preliminary technical clarification, commercial clarification incl. creditworthiness, export control checks, determination of delivery dates, reservation of inventory and, if applicable, manufacturing capacities, information regarding offer validity) to create the prerequisites for closing a contract.
  • Controls order-related compliance of the delivery dates and quantities to initiate proactive measures for optimizing delivery reliability in good time and to be always capable of providing [order] information.
  • Controls delivery dates and initiates deliveries in a timely manner or, if necessary, handles back orders with automatic delivery collection to ensure delivery reliability to the customer.
  • Arranges quickest possible invoicing to the customer, performing the related post-calculation, controlling order cost receipt and utilizing the possibilities of additional charges to optimize the value flow and show a correct margin.
  • Plans the design of logistics and transport concepts with the customer in cooperation with logistics process planning, packaging planning and transport handling to safeguard the delivery process and minimize process costs.
  • Cooperates with all others involved and with interface partners and passing on all relevant information to keep themselves and others informed and create an optimum logistics chain
  • Contract review and cost control incl. OOH follow up, Turnover FC, WIP, AR and other related Cash Flow management
  • Issue Purchase Order: Upon receipt of Purchase Request (PR), after checking related information in PR (incl. price, vendor, unit), adopt PR to PO and have the PO approved in line with company signature mandate and send PO to vendor via EDI or e-mail/fax.
  • Trace Purchase Order: To guarantee goods arrival JIT, trace each released PO with vendor through vendor's first confirmed delivery date and any update, communicate with PM/ TS if vendor's confirmed delivery date can’t satisfy contract’s Required Delivery Date (RDD).
  • Non-conforming Material Handling: Upon receipt of non-conforming case, either apply RECO process for SAG vendor / directly escalate to local Siemens vendor, or contact 3rd party vendor for solution of replacement or repair.
  • Payment to Vendor: Work out "pay-when-due" list and send to SP/ PM/ BA for confirmation of which due payment needs to be blocked, have the block list approved by CFO and send the payment list to GSS for releasing due payment.
  • Delivery Reliability: Issue monthly report about vendor's delivery reliability and report those with low reliability to SP for further action, e.g. delay due payment.
  • Other tasks assigned by Management.

Your defining qualities

  • University degree majored in Commercial/Accounting is preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience of commercial or financial controlling function including 1 year experience of SAP practice;
  • Excellent English in both written and spoken.
