Today, we are recruiting for a COM System Engineer to join our team in Turkey. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Conduct analysis for the project requirements.
• Develop the technical system specifications.
• Act as technical interface with customers and other contractors.
• Liaise testing and commissioning works onsite.
• Support systems once into operation after commissioning.
• Develop the architecture system and integration with 3rd parties’ systems.
• Liaise installation, testing, and commissioning support (remotely and on-site)
• Interface with other Sub-Systems/Third Parties for design and implementation)

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in railway transportation systems, preferably in the rail systems business.
• Knowledge of project management principles for project realization and execution is preferred.
• Independent and structured approach to work.
• CCNP and/or SRS2, SRA certification is a big plus.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Experience in railway communication system design.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, Industrial Ethernet, Routers, Wireless, Security, Firewall.
• Knowledge of communications systems architecture design (conceptual, detailed, and final design with documentation)
• Knowledge of general communications theory concepts.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and tools such as Wireshark.
