You’ll break new ground by:

• This position requires expertise in data engineering,cloud development, automation to bring data products integrated to themarketplace. You make other data teams shine! You consult, support, and enabledata teams to build scalable, performant, and highly available data models& applications using the Siemens data analytics ecosystem and adhering toarchitectural standards. A successful candidate is experienced with handlingmodern data stacks, developer tools, and next-generation databases. You areproficient with cloud- and warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, AWS. Youare an expert in at least one general-purpose programming language, and you areskilled at producing meaningful metrics and logs to debug and trace codein-line with the overall data architecture. You foster exchange betweendevelopment teams to identify, share and exchange best practices. 
• Your problem-solving mindset creates real business value.This is your role. 
• You are part of an international data analytics team withdiverse backgrounds, utilizing state-of-art data analytics methods toaccelerate Siemens internal digitalization.
• You drive and scale the automation and integrationinitiatives.
• You interact regularly with other data teams acrossSiemens to collaborate on data modelling and data warehousing challenges.
• You understand cloud-native technologies and platforms.
• You are familiar in data and AI-related agile softwaredevelopment lifecycle methodologies, development, unit testing and integrationframeworks.
• You participate in code reviews, retrospectives, andlunch-and-learns.
• Implement effective database solutions and models tostore and retrieve company data.
• You work on APIs, different integration, streamingplatforms etc.
• Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functionalagile team.
• Be a technical leader, mentor, collaborator, and championof best practices.
• You are working with major Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP,Azure) and associated warehouses and tools (Snowflake, DBT).
• Connecting external data to the cloud data warehouse andapply scalable modelling and data curation techniques.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise,including:

• A university degree in IT, Engineering, Economics orrelated.
• Experience with data engineering and data warehousing.
• You understand data ingest frameworks and are familiarwith tools such as Talend, Knime, Alteryx.
• Expert programming skills in SQL and preferably Python. 
• Familiar with agile working methods.
• Working with major Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)and associated warehouses and tools (Snowflake, DBT).
• Very good command of English.
• German is a plus.
• You are a real team player.
• Fluency in other languages is a plus.
