About the role
Global Delivery Network (GDN) is the organization within Siemens Industry Software responsible for global delivery of our Cloud based PLM and MOM services. As a result of a rapid growth, GDN has created nearshore centers in USA, Mexico, Poland & Malesia.
We are looking for a Polarion X Implementation Consultant to join our CApS Team within our EMEA Cloud Center of Excellence in Poland (Wroclaw, Remote working available). This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing regional team, as we deploy our new cloud proposition to customers across the EMEA region. Travel will not be required as part of this role.
You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by
- Installing Polarion in a distributed environment on AWS Cloud
- Work with Product Support team on product issues
- Communicate with customer users on issues
- Develop Knowledge Management database for solved issues
What do you need to realize what matters?
- Extensive experience with ALM (ideally Polarion), Including knowledge of operating a customer Production instance (installation, Configuration and Upgrade).
- AWS / Azure Cloud knowledge would be preferred, however we can teach you this.
- Basic Linux and Windows Operating System knowledge
- Should be able to perform root cause analysis and arrive at the right solution
- Strong analytical and trouble shooting abilities
- You will require excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, any other additional European language skills would be highly desirable.
- Experience of working in an ITIL environment.
- Scripting knowledge would be useful
- DBA knowledge on Oracle/MS SQL
