Salary: From 2 200 € brutto/ month+ variable bonus*

*We are required by law to disclosebasic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions. This salaryis for junior candidate. In the Segment “Grid Control” weare selling the software (SCADA) that manages the grids of our customers. Ourimplementation projects are complex and man-hour intensive and based ondetailed public tenders.

We are working in distributedteams, most of which are in Vienna, but we also have a strong presence inBratislava. Our projects are managed by experienced technical project managers,supported by commercial project managers and by the Legal function.

Key Responsibilities:

Main target of your job will be to measurably secure the project profitpool and improve the project results

You will be part of several project teams and report to the Grid ControlHub Lead

In cooperation with the technical and commercial project managers, theLegal function and the project team, your task will be to supervise thecompliance of the project realization with the contractual terms by

ü Respectiveguidance to the project team

ü activeclaim management (see below)

ü support inchange order management (see below)

Manage the contract by maintaining and making available an up-to-dateversion,   secure the correct understanding and interpretationof the contract (e.g. via contract readings) and specific aspects of it tosupport the effective and efficient contract execution. Combine a Legal,commercial & technical perspective.

Together with the project manager, set up a proper claim management system(process, roles, master documents, decision making, documentation, claimcorrespondence) in the individual projects and develop a claim strategy towardsthe main project partners and stakeholders.

Consider scope and deliverables from the contract to create outbound claimsand challenge inbound claims. You therefore need to deeply dive into both thecontract and the technical requirements (such as required functions,performance corridors, users, licenses ...)

Support the Sales function and the project manager to set up an effectivechange order procedure, support the preparation of change documents andadditional offers in line with the contractual requirements.

Participate in claim and/or change order negotiations, if deemed necessary.

Intensively communicate with internal stakeholder (project management,commercial project management, Quality Management, Line Management, Legalfunction, Headquarter) and customers – mainly digitally but also in-person.


Qualifications:

Bachelor / Master’s degree in business and/or commercial law, businessand/or management  or equivalent experience

Over 3 years experience in large projects and contract and claim management

Legal, technical or commercial background and keen interest in all threeareas

Fluent in English

German knowledge is a clear plus (but not required),

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.

Limited travel, could be up to 20%
